No. There are very specific ways to skirt around the mod rule. I have a very strict criteria for mods that most of them cannot meet. But when they do meet that criteria, they can make their own spot on the list. Usually, the biggest reason mods don't appear on the List is because you have to do extra work to get them to play. My List only highlights games you can easily obtain. All you should have to do to play a game on this list is buy and download. Almost no mod meets this strict requirement. But some might, like Half-Life 2: VR Mod. But also most mods are AI generated and suck shit.
If a game isn't on the main list, it means it broke one of the listed rules and criteria. Most of the time, I just haven't played that game at all, or haven't played it enough to form an opinion on it. It could also break any one of the other rules. Rule 1 is also a big reason why some games don't appear on the list.
Revive is a tool that lets you play games on the Oculus Rift store with any SteamVR connected VR headset. Games on the list marked with (Revive) mean you must purchase (or not, if you know what I mean) these games on the Rift store and use Revive to play them on non-Meta headsets. I believe, even though these games aren't available on Steam, that they still provide incredible experiences. They shouldn't be forgotten or left to rot. It's totally understandable if you don't want to spend money on the Meta store, but if you do, you should give these games a shot.
